International Association for Integrative and Holistic Dog Grooming
Certification is intended to distinguish qualified practitioners, promote ongoing education, support professional credibility, and provide clarity to the public regarding adherence to the Association’s standards.
Certification is separate from membership and requires active participation and annual renewal.
Recognizes foundational knowledge and application of canine-centered, species-specific grooming principles.
Recognizes demonstrated professional experience, applied practice, and continued engagement with education and standards.
Represents the highest level of recognition, reserved for leaders, educators, and contributors who actively shape professional standards and education.
Certified members must complete one structured educational module annually. Each module is expected to require approximately four hours of participation per week over a four-week period, totaling approximately sixteen to twenty hours of continuing education per year.
Certified members must complete a written paper suitable for publication through the Association as part of their annual renewal.
Certification is renewed annually and requires the following:
Failure to meet renewal requirements may result in suspension or expiration of certification.
