Members are expected to model the Association’s standards of care, professionalism, and ethical responsibility. Membership is not automatic—admission and renewal are designed to uphold quality, ensure alignment with the Association’s values, and recognize members who demonstrate ongoing professional growth.

To remain an active member, participants must continue to demonstrate involvement and growth. The goal is to make IHDG membership a badge of ongoing professional excellence.

  1. Payment of annual dues
  2. Completion of at least 8 hours of continuing education through approved courses, webinars, or events
  3. Submission of a professional reflection, article, or documented community engagement
  • Recognition System
